New Delhi: Big Bash League is starting on 13 December. This will be the 12th season of this league. Afghanistan’s rising fast bowler Fazalhaq Farooqi has tied up with Sydney Thunder for this season of the Big Bash League. He will replace England fast bowler David Willey. David Willey had recently withdrawn his name from this league. After the inclusion of Fazalhaq Farooqi, the General Manager of Sydney Thunder has said that he is expecting the best performance from Farooqi.

Sydney Thunder general manager Andrew Gilchrist was quoted as saying by the franchise’s official website, ‘Farooqui is joining our team after a great performance in the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup. Although it is very disappointing to lose David Willey, but it has opened the door for Farooqui to establish his talent in world cricket.

Please tell that Fazalhaq Farooqui has taken a total of 21 wickets in 17 matches in T20 International cricket. During this, he has bowled with an excellent economy of 6.76. Recently, he took 3 wickets for 11 runs in 3.4 overs in the match against Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup. He took 2 wickets for 29 runs in his 4 overs against Australia in the T20 World Cup. However, Afghanistan could not win this match.
