Deoghar: Free service for the stay of devotees coming to Baidyanath Dham, these facilities will be available…

Deoghar. Deoghar of Jharkhand is an important city in terms of tourism. It is also called the cultural capital of the state. Devotees from all over the country and abroad come to worship in the world famous Baidyanath temple. They stay here for a day or two and enjoy the city of Baba. In view of this, there are all kinds of hotels in Deoghar where rooms ranging from economical to luxury are available to stay. Apart from this, free of cost arrangements have been made by the government for the stay of the devotees coming to Deoghar.

In view of the convenience of the people coming here, a shelter home has been constructed for women in Deoghar and for men in Jasidih, where there is provision for padded beds, pillows, mosquito nets and blankets. Along with this, arrangements for water, electricity, toilets and bathrooms have also been made. Night stay here is absolutely free. It is being operated under the Deendayal Antyodaya National Livelihood Mission with the joint efforts of the Government of India and Urban Development and Housing Department, Government of Jharkhand. It is monitored by the municipal corporation at the local level.

Aadhaar card mandatory for visitors
50 beds have been arranged to stay in the women’s shelter home operated behind the private bus stand of Deoghar. There, a shelter home for men is operated in Narendra Bhawan of Jasidih. There is a provision of 45 beds here. It is mandatory to show Aadhaar card for taking rest in the shelter home. Entry here is not allowed after 10 pm.

Deepa Kumari, the caretaker of the women’s shelter, told that there is a provision of 50 beds here. For stay, facilities like mattress, blanket, sheet, water, electricity etc. are provided. At the same time, Kunder Rana, the caretaker of the men’s shelter, told that 45 beds have been arranged here for the rest of the people. Special care is taken for cleanliness. It is mandatory for visitors to show Aadhaar card. This service is completely free.
