Dehradun. Uttarakhand School Education Council has made important announcements regarding the 2023 board exams. According to this, this time 1250 examination centers will be made in the state. Out of these, 198 sensitive and 15 centers have been identified as highly sensitive in order to make these examinations copy-free in the state. Let us tell you that on Wednesday a meeting was held at the headquarter Ramnagar regarding the board examinations of 2023. In the meeting, the state level officers gave instructions to the Chief Education Officers.

In this meeting centers were decided for board examinations. This time 1250 examination centers will be set up across the state for these examinations. Out of these, 198 sensitive and 15 centers have been identified as highly sensitive in order to make these examinations copy-free in the state. However, there has been a huge decrease in the number of cheating in the examinations of the Uttarakhand Board of School Education year after year.

In the meeting, the state level officers gave instructions to the Chief Education Officers. During this, it was said that necessary physical resources and security etc. should be thoroughly examined at these examination centers of high school and intermediate. In the council examination 2023, the total candidates will be 2, 59, 340 at 1250 examination centers. In which 1, 32,104 candidates of high school and 1,27,236 candidates of intermediate will be included.

Compared to previous years, this year there has been an increase of 16 thousand students. While the Council has reduced 83 examination centers. Last year the number of these examination centers was 1333. This time Haridwar has the maximum number of 48322 candidates, while Champawat district has the least number of 6984 candidates. This time maximum number of examination centers 145 have been set up in Tehri district. Whereas in Champawat district, the number of these centers has been reduced to just 38.

Practical examinations will be completed in the month of February 2023. It is estimated that the board examinations of high school and intermediate will start from the last week of February or March. By the way, a separate meeting is held to fix the exam date, in which there is a complete time table of the exams from the beginning of the board exams. In such a situation, it would be better to wait for that meeting of the examination committee for the date of commencement of the examination.
