Bangalore: The ‘RH200’ rocket of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was successfully launched for the 200th consecutive time from the Thumba coast of Thiruvananthapuram on Wednesday. ISRO called it a “historic moment”. Former President Ram Nath Kovind, ISRO Chairman S. Somnath and others became its witnesses. ‘RH200’ lifted off from the Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launching Station (TERLS).

An ISRO statement said that the scientific community is using Indian sounding rockets to conduct experiments on meteorology, astronomy and space physics. The statement said that the 200th consecutive successful flight is a testimony to the unmatched commitment of Indian rocket scientists displayed over the years. After the successful test of the rocket, all the scientists expressed happiness.

ISRO continues to do successful rocket tests
In the field of technology and security, ISRO continuously conducts tests to strengthen India. Recently, ISRO had done a big test for safety in Gaganyaan. ‘Integrated Main Parachute Airdrop Test’ (IMAT) has been done at Babina Field Fire Range in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh. ISRO said that IMAT is the first step towards realizing the country’s ambitious Gaganyaan project. Earlier in October, ISRO successfully launched the heaviest rocket LVM-3-M2 / OneWeb India-1.
