Before Ravishankar, Vikas Ranjan of Bharti Club is playing for Vijay Hazare Trophy from Bihar team as wicketkeeper. Club secretary JP told that after the selection of Ravi Shankar, the enthusiasm of the club players has increased a lot more than before. Players like Ravi Shankar are role models for our club. Ravi Shankar is a very hardworking player. He was never negligent on the ground. The secretary told that we hope that one day he will play for the country.
Bharti club preparing cricketers since 1980
Bharti Club member Sanjay Verma told that this club in Muzaffarpur has been preparing cricket players since 1980. Many players from this club have played for Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy earlier also. Sanjay Verma said that the enthusiasm of all of us has increased with the selection of Ravi Shankar. Despite so many shortages in a city like Muzaffarpur, we have been preparing cricketers on the basis of hard work. Bharti Club of Muzaffarpur is one of the old cricket clubs of the city.

The players of Bharti Club play morning and evening on the ground of Langat Singh College in Muzaffarpur. There are about 80 to 85 players in this club who are working day and night dreaming of making a place in the Indian team.
