Actually, the Indian Air Force has proposed Rs 1400 crore to the government. According to this proposal, the Air Force wants to buy the new state-of-the-art Rudram Anti-Radiation Missile (NGARM). The specialty of this missile is that it finds and destroys the enemy’s radar.

A military official told that the proposal to buy the advanced missile made by the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has been given to the Ministry of Defense. A high-level meeting will be held soon on this matter. The Indian Army has already tested this new and state-of-the-art anti-radiation missile. It was tested by installing it in Sukhoi-30 fighter jet. It detects and destroys enemy radars during war.

He said that with this the Indian Air Force can attack the enemy without being seen. Significantly, this missile can be used from the Sukhoi-30 and Mirage-2000 of the Indian Air Force. The special thing is that it can catch the radar system even when it is not working. NGARM is India’s first indigenous anti-radiation missile which travels two or two and a half times faster than sound.

According to the information, this air-to-ground anti-radiation missile has been made in such a way that it can capture the source of frequency of radiation. Another special thing is that not only can it be released towards the target before firing, but its target can also be fixed after firing. The strength of the Indian Air Force will increase tremendously with this missile. With this, the Air Force will be able to make future plans with indigenous weapons. Recently, Air Chief Marshal VR Chowdhary had said that we learned from the Russia-Ukraine war that the Indian Air Force should have indigenous weapons.
