PM Modi addressed the employment fair, said – Goa’s development is in the hands of the youth

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today i.e. on Thursday addressed the Goa Employment Fair organized by the state government through digital medium. In this ‘Employment Fair’, appointment letters were handed over to 1,250 people for posts in various departments. On this occasion, PM Modi said that I am happy that wherever there are BJP governments, double engine governments, the state governments are also organizing such job fairs. He said that employment opportunities are increasing in Goa.

He said that today the Goa government has taken an important step. Mass appointment letters are being given to many youths in various departments of Goa Government today. Many congratulations to all the youth and their parents who got the appointment letters. In the last 8 years, the central government has invested thousands of crores for the development of Goa. The new airport built at Mopa at a cost of about Rs 3000 crore is going to be inaugurated soon. Thousands of people of Goa have got employment in the works related to the construction of this airport.

PM Modi further said that I have been told that in the coming few months many recruitments are going to take place in Goa Police and other departments. With this, the Goa Police will be strengthened and a huge facility is going to increase in the field of security of citizens and tourists. Those cultivating paddy, coconut and other crops in Goa are being linked to self-help groups and this step is empowering the farmers of Goa. Employment and self-employment opportunities are increasing in the state.

Appointment letters were handed over to 1,250 people
It was told that under the employment fair, appointment letters were handed over to selected youths for recruitment in Police Department, Fire and Emergency Services, Planning and Statistics and Agriculture Departments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses a gathering during the employment fair function organized at the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan in Dona Paula, near Panaji. Prime Minister Modi had handed over appointment letters to more than 71,000 youth through video conference on Tuesday under the employment fair.
