New Delhi. In the case of killing of Air Force officers, a hearing will be held against separatist leader Yasin Malik in Jammu’s TADA court today. In 1990, four Air Force officers were killed by terrorists of the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front. Even today, Yasin Malik will appear in TADA Court of Jammu virtually from Tihar Jail. He himself sought permission to appear in the TADA court. The Tihar Jail Administration has not allowed Yasin Malik to appear in the Jammu TADA Court. Now the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has reached the Supreme Court regarding Yasin Malik’s case.
The CBI has filed an application in the Supreme Court against Yasin Malik’s permission to appear in person in the TADA court of Jammu. The CBI said that the situation in Jammu and Kashmir is not good. That’s why Yasin Malik should not be allowed to present himself. A special CBI court in Jammu will on Wednesday hear the case of Jammu and Kashmir separatist leader Mohammad Yasin Malik in connection with the killing of four Indian Air Force officers. It is noteworthy that on January 25, 1990, Malik and his other accomplices allegedly killed Squadron Leader Ravi Khanna and three other Indian Air Force officers at Rawalpora in Srinagar.
Notably, Yasin Malik is the main accused in the murder of four Indian Air Force personnel. He was charged by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with this case on August 31, 1990 before the TADA court in Jammu. Malik has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a terror funding case. Yasin Malik is currently lodged in Tihar Jail. He is accused of involvement in many terrorist activities along with terror funding in Kashmir.
